Emma Morgan - Creative Director

Emma joined Lion Television as Creative Director at the beginning of 2020 and is  responsible for originating and overseeing the new slate of popular factual formats and series both in the UK and US.

One of the most successful creative originators in British factual TV, Emma has held key creative roles in both development and production at Twofour, Mentorn, Oxford Scientific Films and most recently at Firecracker Films where she was Creative Director responsible for devising and producing a range of new formats and returning series including Mums Make Porn (C4), Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over (WTV), How the Other Kids Live (C4) and the Broadcast award winning Emma Willis: Delivering Babies (WTV) and The Customer Is Always Right (BBC1).

Other key development and production credits include A Very British Hotel with access to the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, Angry White & Proud, The Fried Chicken Shop, Why Men Wear Frocks with Grayson Perry and the BAFTA nominated F***ing Fulfords (all for C4);  Free Speech and Hotel of Mum & Dad (for BBC3); The Art on Your Wall with Sue Perkins (BBC2), Saving Ed Mitchell (ITV1), Gregg’s: More Than Meats the Pie (Sky1) and Young & Married (MTV International). 

Emma has also been a mentor for Channel 4’s diversity training scheme seven times and a member of the BAFTA TV committee for the last six years.
