Ronald Searle is the greatest graphic artists Britain has produced. But in 1961, infuriated by the public's obsession with his St Trinian's girls, which he saw as a very trivial part of his output, he left the country.
This programme concentrates on his extraordinary post-war rise to fame after his return from a Japanese prisoner-of-war camp.
