The Edwardian Family Album

1x60 mins

Peter Snow hosts a special hour-long celebration of the Edwardian age as seen through the eyes of our turn of the century ancestors and documented in what proved to be the golden age of popular photography.

Following a national call to arms, asking the British public to come forward with their family artefacts, The Edwardian Family Album features some of the best stories.

Filmed at Manderston in the Scottish Borders, Peter Snow is joined by three eminent historians Nicholas Oddy, Design Historian and Senior Lecturer at Glasgow's School of Art; Juliet Gardiner, Social Historian and author and Colin Harding, photographic historian and curator at the National Media Museum in Bradford.

The Edwardian Family Album transmitted as part of BBC Four's highly commended Edwardian Season.
