Horrible Histories - The Concert is live!

Lion Television and Birmingham Stage Company are thrilled to bring the BAFTA Award-winning TV series to life in a brand-new production, combining the hit CBBC songs with the show’s much-loved stars, for the very first time on tour. The concert is led by award-winning composer Richie Webb, the mastermind behind every unforgettable Horrible Histories anthem, who joins as Musical Director with a live band. The stellar cast includes Richard David-Caine, Harrie Hayes, Inel Tomlinson and Ethan Lawrence, alongside stage veterans Alison Fitzjohn and Neal Foster. Together, they’ll deliver a once-in-a-lifetime Horrible experience , from Henry VIII and Elizabeth I to Cleopatra, Boudica, Vikings and beyond, all with Richie Webb’s iconic songs performed live. With creativity, comedy, music and chaos, this is history like you’ve never seen (or heard) it before. Written by Ben Ward & Claire Wetton, songs and music by Richie Webb, directed by Neal Foster, designed by Jackie Trousdale, with lighting by Jason Taylor, sound by Nick Sagar and choreography by Lucie Pankhurst.
