Horrible Histories wins Rose d'Or
Britain's Black History episode of Horrible Histories has won the prestigious Rose d'Or 2021 for Best Children's and Youth programme
Perkins and accepted by Akemnji 'AK' Ndifornyen who co-script-edited the show. The episode celebrates the rich and varied contribution of Black Britons to British life from Roman times through to the Windrush years. The episode was made under testing conditions during the height of Covid pandemic. The Rose d'Or is one of the most prestigious awards for the best in entertainment television. It is the second time Horrible Histories has won the award.
