Jake Henry McCormack

Jake joined Lion in 2022 on Horrible Histories Series 10 and 11 and has remained a part of the team ever since.

After several years trying to break into the industry, he finally got his foot in the door through thinkBIGGER!’s Dream Big scheme.

Since then, he’s coordinated his way across Horrible Histories, Inside the Tower of London, RE/style for Amazon Prime, Horrible Science Series 2 and the Horrible Science Prom, alongside history, consumer and Dispatches productions, and overseas shoots.

Jake loves that no two productions are ever quite the same, although his approach usually is: organise everything, solve impossible logistics and make a spreadsheet for absolutely anything, including plenty that absolutely nobody asked for. This extends beyond work; holidays have been known to come with schedules and, if necessary, a call sheet. Production coordinating is less of a job and more of a lifestyle.

Away from work, Jake can usually be found gymming, travelling, at the theatre, out for dinner, or neglecting all four with some unapologetically trashy television.
