Hunt for the Arctic Ghost Ship
In September 2014 a multi-million dollar, state-of-the-art expedition made the unlikely discovery of the Victorian ship HMS Erebus, intact and up-right on the Arctic sea floor.
This is the previously unseen story of their unfolding mission in the Arctic ice: from the battle with heavy sea-ice – which threatened to stop the search entirely – to the dramatic chain of events which led to the historic discovery itself.
